REWASD error when REWASD isn't running.

I was very disappointed that I had to refund EA FC 26 because it does not allow reWASD to be installed on my PC. I use this mapping software because the LT and RT triggers on my controller are worn out. They no longer reach 100% input when pressed, and reWASD allows me to adjust the dead zone so they can reach 100%. That is the only reason I use it.

I use it in every game that requires a controller, including older FIFA titles, and I have never had any issues. It never even crossed my mind that this would be a restriction when I purchased the game. Without it, I am simply unable to play. And no, I am not going to buy a new controller just to play EA's online casino. The frustration was already great enough when I saw that message on my screen.

This was extremely unpleasant, especially because I tried running the game with reWASD turned off, as EA instructs. I even disconnected my controller, which already makes no sense, left the program inactive, restarted my system, and yet the anti-cheat still claimed that I was not allowed to have it installed.

EA wanted to force me to remove the program from my PC. That is unacceptable and an intrusion into my personal life. If you have problems with hackers in your game, in your "CASINO," or whatever this game has become, find another way to deal with it. A controller is not what makes the difference, never was, and you know that.

I had not returned to FIFA since FIFA 17, and I genuinely wanted to play EA FC 26 and perhaps relive some of the great afternoons I had with FIFA 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17, games that I played extensively and have many good memories of. But all it took was finishing a 100 GB download for me to be instantly disappointed. And there was nothing I could do about it.

I will never buy anything from EA again.

"Marked as solution" my a... You evil people keep ignoring your customers' complaints and rule out any situation that puts your fat *ss into discomfort... Rewasd is not a cheat software and even turning it off does not make EA crap run. You evil people scan for files of rewasd on customers' computers which is illegal... Anyways i heard some people playing cracked versions of fifa crap because the paid copies turned out to be just scams. My worst wishes to you and all the ea share holders... They must be lovely people i can imagine...

stop telling lies and spreading misinformation, what a dishonest response you know EXACTLY what the issue is, EA has even done this to older games this was previous not an issue on so i will be seeking refunds you can't just changed the rules for products people have paid for especially those with single player campaigns that have nothing do with the multiplayer world, this is ignorant lazy programming, Call Of Duty, The Finals and others took a more mature professional approach they worked with the REWASD devs and now REWASD disables offending features when it detects their titles running, persecuting non cheaters and especially the disabled who use REWASD for genuine purposed is a weak dog act Leon and you know it so quit towing the company line and actually provide customers real support as this stands i will never purchase any EA crap until this is resolved hell i might even obtain some through different means EA wont get a cent out of me till it does the right thing here which isn't even difficult! Play stupid games win stupid prizes. BF6 has been as big a mess and fail as 2042 was and that's because the company demonstrates it doesn't care to listen to the user base and what they want, how many non REWASD users have you lost because you have prevented them playing with their mates? Stupid stupid people, whoever thought this was the right approach should be shown the door!

Exactly, and even worse EA DISCRIMINATES against the disabled who need software like rewasd to play on their non standard peripherals, EA didnt ban many cheats at all instead it falsely banned the majority, and you contact support and they dont reply.

Yet customers are supposed to be respected when EA Help staff are being so DISRESPECTFUL.

It is an issue! No matter how much ea can close it's eyes and consider it didn't happen, your software is refusing to work unless people uninstall and completely clean all the remaining files from the user's computer. Turning off the process does not work for many users. This is a typical big nose behavior from an industry giant. Because they took the money and sold the product, rest is not important... It was the last time ever i got scammed. i will never ever pay any money to ea again. it was my stupidest action...

You guys are the issue itself.

This is not a solution. You can't decide what software will be installed on my computer. Your very expert coders have to fix that mistake....

They won't feel ashamed. This is the new era of pinching money from people. We got scammed. And these scammers are even trying to dictate what legal software we can have on our own computers...
