Settings file will not load

I'm playing on PC and the name of my settings file changed to "1." When I try to load that file, it gives me the error message, "failed to load." I don't want to delete and create a new settings file just in case it deletes all my progress on Pro clubs... Has anyone else had this issue and possibly has a solution? I tried reinstalling and repairing but it didn't solve the issue...
