It appears that EA has done something server side that has resolved this issue. It also appears to have fixed the issue on previous Fifas.
Thankyou for finally resolving this EA.

This is happening to me as well and I can’t even load into club lobbies either. This issue should be addressed with high priority, and should be fixed really soon. Plus there’s also a bug in Clubs where once you do a skill game to gain Weekly XP, upon completing a drill the game doesn’t loads to a blank screen to where you have to force quit your game.
