Ultimate team can't join co-op lobby

I can't join a Ultimate team co-op lobby nor can I join someone else's co-op lobby since the new update from today. I keep getting the following error: "Failed to join game session. The session is already full or is no longer available. Please try again". Another thing that confuses me is that when I go to start a co-op lobby I can see the top 3 players of my friends team instead of my own players. Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know a solution? We've already tried restarting everything.
