Unable to connect EA server in Nintendo switch

Hi I have signed up for online membership. I have an EA account. However all I get is unable to connect. I am connected to the internet so no problem there. I just can’t get passed unable to connect. I have followed all the basic and advanced steps and no change: the game is FC24
