Unable to Launch FC 24 due to faulty(?) anticheat

Product: EA SPORTS FC 24
Platform:PC
Please specify your platform model. EA app - PC
AMD or Nvidia Model Number NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
Enter RAM memory size in GB 16
Which mode has this happened in? Practice Mode
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By reviewing dump files for anticheat
What happens when the bug occurs? A popup screen appears to say there is error code E0670A01 and there is a hardware error. It usually appears twice and sometime the FC 24 splash screen is displayed before the second popup. The game never starts as anticheat crashes and returns to the EA Desktop
What should be happening instead? The game should be launched

This problem has been ongoing for over 4 weeks now and I have involved Support from HP, Microsoft and EA. The EA support has pointed me to self help guides on the EA Help site but none of these resolve the issue.

FC24 was working fine until about 4 weeks ago, at this point the E0670A01 message started appearing

and the following has happened since then.

  • A number of EA cases have been raised
    • Case #178599121
    • Case #179135022
    • Case #180214171
    • Case #180331954
  • The OS has had the following done to it:
    • Clean boot
    • Reinstall preserving Apps and files
    • Complete fresh install of Windows 11 23H2
    • New factory build install of Windows 11 21H2 - Errors on this and after updating to current version
  • The hardware has had the following done to it:
    • Replacement Graphic card
    • Replacement Wifi and Bluetooth
    • Replacement SSD (hence Factory build install)

Despite all these actions the one constant is the E0670A01 error from anticheat. HP have had the PC twice for repair but the error persists.

All signs say Hardware error but HP are unable to find one, they have stressed the machine with the Heaven Graphics benchmark but that shows no issues. I don't know how useful that is as it's based on DirectX 11 and FC24 is DirectX 12. However the error occurs before the game is launched so not clear this is a graphics problem.

It's not an account issue as I can run FC 24 on a laptop and anticheat allows the game to launch, the spec of the laptop means it is unplayable but it proves the account is OK.

Basically there is some incompatibility between my PC and EA anticheat that was introduced just over a month ago. Have there been changes to anticheat in that time, if there have is there any way to use the previous version to confirm whether it is anticheat causing the problem?

If this is a real hardware issue (that HP can't detect) is there any further information Anticheat can provide on what hardware check/operation was being performed at the time the error occurred?

The bottom line is I can't prove it's a hardware error if HP can't find it. If your anticheat is finding something tangible I can take this problem back to HP and get them to focus on the hardware area being checked when anticheat fails.

The dump files I've tried to attach seem to have anticheat accessing areas of memory it doesn't have access to so this could be a bug or could be invalid data being returned from a hardware interface.  I'm unable to attach .dmp or .zip files, so how do I attach dumps?

I've placed the dumps onto OneDrive and they can be accessed using the following link: eaanticheat.Crashdumps.zip

Help me Obi-Wan, you're my only hope!
