Let's try a couple of things to see it solves the issue.
1. Once you click on Volta, try closing the app completely before getting the error and load the game back up again.
2. If that didn't work, go to "Settings", "Edit Teams" and then reset all squads. Try to log into Volta once with the squad reset and once with the latest squad updates
Let us now if the issue is still happening.

I have the same issue on XSX, "There was an error accessing server data, please try again." pops up when loading into Volta.
I tried the two solutions and neither worked.
I am not sure when the issue started for me, I haven't tried to access volta in a while and I just got this error when I logged on today - italian01boy2 years agoRising Novice
Playstation 5 users now also have the bug that is on xbox series x now?? Damn ea really doing their thing with the upcoming new release of fc 25... for me it started on saturdaymorning. Fridaynight the game (vta) worked perfect! But saturdaymorning started my xbox series x, started Volta and BAM the error message came up and loaded me back onto the mainscreen of the game. Every other gamemode works EXCEPT for Volta! I was on the ea chat for allmpst an hour today and they told me it was a bug (mostly for all xbox users)but now i see it's also coming to ps users... hope they fix it soon people!! Let's keep our fingers crossed
