Please ban the disgraceful glitch-abusing accounts

This is a joint voice of FC24 fans in China

A two-day glitch since Jan 17 (unlimited rewards in objectives) destroyed the EAFC 24 ecosystem in China. Not an inconsiderable amount of bug abusers in China had amassed vast amounts of packs from the unlimited rewards glitch.

After a two-day arms race for free packs, abusers were showing off their astronomical stockpile and how they quick-sell duplicate TOTY players obtained from these glitched packs. Most of them had stockpiled more than 1500 85+ picks and 2000 83*10 packs. Some had amassed millions of FUT coins.

TOTY Mbappé and Ronaldo are commonly seen among newly registered accounts. EAFC‘s sever in HK are overrun with them. Indisputably, they have violated the user agreement and should be banned.

A healthy game ecosystem is based on the principles of fairness and justice which are absent here. These rule-breaking accounts mostly have not been banned or punished yet. They are infesting the whole community. Glitch abusers now seek to get more aggressive and start to mock other players who obey the rules and spend money on packs. Bad guys are rewarded while good guys are deeply hurt. Consequently, a mass exodus of upstanding guys from FC24 is happening here. Heartbreaking.

Technically, it shouldn’t be complicated to identify these toxic accounts. All new accounts registered on Jan 17 or 18 which have claimed thousands of packs in two days are suspicious.

EA, please take action, stop the blatant unfairness, and punish the violators.

( 4m 8s ) : I would like to tell you there was no such bug there in the game where players claimed free packs and coins so do not worry about this

  • There definitely was. Many people reported the bug to EA and EA fixed it on Jan 19. You can find many posts about the unlimited rewards glitch in the Bug Reports sub.

However, the order has not been restored in the aftermath. The two-day glitch hadn't caused large-scale abuse around the world. But it brought about glitch abuse mania in China, which soured almost the whole FC24 community there. Game players are appealing to EA for action. Unfortunately, very few abusers' accounts are banned.

There are literally people on twitch with 999 player picks and 7000+ packs, they are opening them live. they got TOTYs, and lots of fodder for all SBC on those new accounts.
