I have the same issue, it started suddenly yesterday when i was kicked out of the game. Unable to connect to companion app also, so can't do the steps suggested by @EA_Pulsar in the start of this thread.
I have the same problem just came on today I’m confused to why it’s not working, I use my girlfriends email I don’t know if it’s something to do with that?, but I can’t log into my ultimate team says the same as other comments, also I can’t go into companion app please help??!
