Unable to find created player in national team pool career mode

I need help and don’t find it in forums or anywhere on line. I am trying to add my created career mode player in FC24 PS5 to national team pool. Two different players created, neither findable in the search. I don’t even have the edit created player option in settings like I see in YouTube tutorials. Just create new player or edit real player. WTF.
