Unable to shoot left/right on PKs in Fut Champs

Back to back games to open Fut Champs went to PKs, but only the very first shot in the first set of PKs allowed me or my opponent to shoot left or right (unless both players I played shot all 5 shots down the middle) - Ultimately, I won both matches, but that’s obviously not sustainable if I’m unable to choose a side to shoot… And yes, I’m 100000% sure it wasn’t a user error on 9 straight PK attempts.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
