Hi mate, good to see you back here!
One needs to set up the save right though. If you set it up with a "closed first transfer window", transfers are removed completely from the game it seems. A bug that will hopefully soon be fixed. But if you start with an open window, then everything seems to work.
Just to clarify I believe this is a lucky dip bug, many reporting the issue, I however and others haven't had that issue so I don't entirely know what is causing it.
But in general it's each to their own on opinions, if you look at rest of the forum you'll see about 600 threads telling us it's the worst game ever like every other year. I have a few niggly things that big me, but overall I'm enjoying it especially career mode
On that note regarding transfers another issue I had been hearing about which turns out I'm also having issues not receiving notifications of bids only a message when they have pulled out because you've basically ignored them so transfer hub needs to be checked regularly especially if you have players listed.
