I had no idea the league finished like that. Interesting to hear how 7th can be better than 4-6. With your winning streak, you set yourself up for a difficult end to the season.

Yes, that is quite odd. If I finish 3rd and need a Playoff against the 7th place to get into Europe (if none of top 3 teams win the cup), then I'll certainly feel that it's a bit unfair. But it is what it is. Eso si que es.

Very good signing to bring Larsen in. If he stays healthy, at worst he is a good bench option to have. Trying to fit him into the lineup is a good problem to have for Frank, players are too good to drop right now. One of those strange moves where the club signs a player but then loans them for two years. They are paying some wages now in hopes he will create a bigger sell on fee for the future.

Exactly my thought. I tried to find some reason to it, and that was also where I ended. A risk, I suppose, paying half his wages (half of €28.000) for two years, hoping for him to recover the money in a huge fee. Or maybe recalling him before then, if they see him improve his performances and/or consistency.
But why did he extend his contract himself? Surely he couldn't be happy with his situation there with limited game time and numerous loan deals. I started thinking that he might be too proud to return home on a permanent basis. He does strike me as a rather proud, almost nonchalant footballer/person, saying stuff like 'I've played abroad for 10 years' and so on. Still being tied to a Bundesliga club may do well for such an ego 😄 Speaking of ego, he's also dating the ex girlfriend of a certain Lord Bendtner...
I like your bench option. I'm not sure the game does though. This player will demand a starting role, both in game and in real life. So it's either that or a quick return to Hoffenheim.

If like previous editions then hopefully loan deals are better once start making the deals ourselves. I usually found I didn't have so many problems with parent clubs taking them back once the real life ones were done.
That said I suspect he'll be getting game time anyways unless bad form hits and silver lining if for any reason it doesn't work out didn't pay big fee for him.

Clever, I probably will have to engage in quite some loan deals myself, if I want to get some players with some top experience without paying too much for salaries (or transfer fees).

According to my own experiences with loan deals (used them a lot in FC24), the player won't be recalled, if he is a starting player. I remember having Folarin Balogun recalled in one save, even though he was subbed on in almost every game from the bench. But the saves, where I've had a loan player in my starting lineup in most games, there I haven't seen the player recalled yet.
My loan striker from Watford, Mileta Rajovic, has also started most games so far, except lately where I've preferred a more dynamic forward duo. But I haven't heard anything, so - for now - it seems that I haven't got any problems with loan deals. But you are right about the silver lining. This approach has no risk, having paid nothing to sign him. Therefore it's also something I won't exploit too much.

Yes, my preferred option was always to get him on a permanent basis. But then he would probably have become my top earner, I have no doubt. Getting him on a loan was a nice option, which I hadn't really thought about before. He didn't appear on any loan lists, I just tried negotiating a loan, expecting to get rejected before entering the negotiations. But I didn't.
In real life a loan often comes with a loan fee too, not being as FREE as it is in the game. So I'll be vary of exploiting this too much. My summer business will probably include a few deals, where I spend some money to sign players more permanently.

You're making strides: you're above Nordsjaelland now and getting in reach of AGF - with a chance in the Cup as well.
In the top round after regular league, do teams continue with gathered points, are the being halved, or do they start a zero again?

Yes, a run of good performances/results, and I'm closing in. It's turning out to be a pretty decent season after all.
Teams keep all their gathered points, but goals for and against start at zero.

Mixed batch of achievements regarding the Youth Academy. Going out first round would've been very disappointing especially after winning the previous. But making up for it by winning the next with some stand out performances too, maybe the future is bright for Brønby
Some good form and in good position in the table in 3rd place and looking strong lately, but it's very close so no room for too many skip ups. The defeat to Nordsjælland could be out down to struggles to the pitch (don't care what anyone says there is a difference) but also close rivals for that 3rd spot in the league.
A good win to finish off the current phase of the league before heading into the last 10 games against fellow top 6
Hopefully Vallys keeps setting up goals and Pentz keeps his spot at top.of the clean sheets table to ensure a good end.

I have a few good players in the academy, but also a few awful ones. My goalie has been exceptionally poor, sometimes letting shots go in obscure distances. He is now demanding to be promoted to the first team, and there's no way I'm doing that. I didn't really see it coming though, so now I'm in a hurry to find a new goalie for the academy and have sent out a scout to do so.
Yes, there is a difference between real grass pitches and the artificial ones. Perhaps not in the game per se, but it will always be something that one can hang their hat on, if they don't get the desired result. I'll play there again in the first of the final 10 games of the season. The other artificial ground is in Silkeborg, so I'll have to play there too.

I have a lot of bad ones as well, but have been keeping a larger number around just in case I get a influx of players wanting to be promoted so then I still have a squad for tournament. I did have 3 GKs just released 1 current ones are 16 so hopefully ok for a while and have a few 14/15 year olds. Unfortunately I lost a couple because end of season when it was simming it goes fairly fast and I missed emails from 2 youth players 1 I seriously wanted so my mistake on that one for letting it SIM too long without checking as it doesn't stop for the emails (heads up on that one)

He is truly a good Number #6 as we call it (defensive midfielder) - he would be the ideal successor for Jordan Henderson at Ajax, if you'd ask me...

Great start to the playoffs and continuing good recent defensive form and ending a bad streak in Farum. The fans will surely be feeling quite optimistic for the remainder of the Season .

That's also what we call it here in Denmark. A number 6 is per definition a holding midfielder. Only the English seem to have got the idea of deploying number 6 in the heart of defence 😉
Glad to learn he's in high regard. I thought it was a coup to get him on a free transfer this summer, but I just didn't know the magnitude of it, having no knowledge about the player beforehand. Sounds like he could be an asset for Brøndby, both here and in real life.
