There isn't a single development plan preset that allows you to train Free-Kicks, on previous editions of Career Mode this wasn't the case; please fix this bug we should be able to train free-kicks.
The only way the Free-Kick stat gets boosted is via the "Balanced" option, it shouldn't be like this.

I'd stay well clear until at least after Christmas, if at all this year - the career mode is broken. Not sure if you've seen the threads regarding contracts - I've lost a third of my squad through this bug, into my third season (around the time players look for renewals). As soon as a player asks for a new contract, it puts them on the transfer list. Then, you negotiate a new contract. The game then doesn't recognise this has been done, and the players are still nagging for a new contract. The game doesn't allow you to address, as you've "recently negotiated a new contract". Eventually, bids come in and you have no autonomy over them, as the "Assistant manager" is now handling the matter.
It's more than broken. It's an aberration.
It's genuinely embarrassing.

Won't be purchasing the new game, until they fix this.

They are not going to fix this, if they would, then it would have been done at the beginning of the launch. The simple fact is that EA does not give an **** about the people playing the game. It is always where the money is and it's not in career mode for them. Almost 30 years and they are still the same.
EA_Aljo Is there any word on this? Spent dozens of seasons grinding methods to get a free kick taker and none work. It’s June and there still seems to not be acknowledgement from EA that this is even an issue. I buy the game pretty much solely to play manager career and this is genuinely a stain on the game mode at the moment.

What's the point? How have they not seen these things during testing.
And it probably won't. I haven't played FC25 in many months now.
The fact that you're not able to train these things in a deep dive career mode, leaving the entire free kick and corner kick elements in the game utterly unusable, takes away my joy of playing and developing my team.
Screw this. Screw EA. Won't be getting the next game for the first time in years, I'm pretty sure. This is a vast insult to the fans and players.
