It’s not the formation that needs removed. It’s the refresh update that made offense passing and shooting to easy along with pace to important.
You only need 4 attackers and it’s to easy to get past the defense you don’t even need the midfield. The only way to stop it is leave 6 back and even then they usually can’t stop the offense. Thats why games are so high scoring.
If ea made offense manual it would also go along way in helping. The problem is the majority liked the update.
