Amazed at how easy it is for poor players to defend now

I find it astonishing how many bad players I play who cannot string five passes together have AI defenders and a keeper who regularly just stop almost every attack. 

Passing the ball and creating real chances is surpassed by people who do three long ground passes and have a fast striker with which they shoot from the edge of the box and score every time. 

I have played so many people in the last few days who cannot get 30 percent of possession but their defence is almost impenetrable. 

I realise this game is a profit machine but I have seen over and over people who cannot play the game winning with the same boring through ball sprint shoot rubbish. I suppose me not buying players is why these average players win. 

It is actually quite laughable at times though. I had a game yesterday where I had 18 shots, 65 percent possession against 9 shots and lost 5-2. 

My strikers have 94 and 92 finishing but apparently can't beat the keeper from inside the box. Meanwhile the opposition get a breakaway and shoot from outside the box and beat my 94 rated keeper. 

Silly game. You've really ruined what was once a game that encouraged people trying to play football. Now it is just sit back, AI defend and fast break with the same goal being scored over and over again. It is funny beating these people after though go 2 or 3 up sometimes but with the proliferation of more and more ridiculously rated cards it is simply a case of people have tricked out players who run past your entire defence with out even doing a skill move and shooting from 25 yards to the top corner. 

Moan over. Too many losses to terrible players tonight. In often hilarious circumstances. The game is a joke. I know I'm supposed to get annoyed and throw down some money to buy cards. I suppose I'll have to wait until I get enough free stuff to upgrade my team and beat most people for a few weeks until they buy the new release cards again. The merry go round of EA profit.
