Bad gameplay: Need for technical "pro" advice

If you want to test your delay. Turn on the online input overlay on in game. This will show you two controllers on screen. One is your local connection the other one is your server connection. Push a button or move the stick and count how many seconds it takes for the server one to light up. If they are in sync then you have little to no delay. If they are say 4 seconds apart then you have 4 seconds of delay. 

If you have 4 seconds of delay then you can try the connection faq or have your isp help you try to fix it.
