Hello. Can you give me some more details? What exactly is the issue you're having?
Although I didn't start this discussion I'll provide my answers! I'm playing on PC via EA App
For 3 days now, I'm having matches on various modes in Ultimate Teams crash with message "Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your Internet connection, make sure the Platform Client is online and try again. Please see ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information"
Even after the latest update, rebooting after new controller connected this is still happening. The message is clearly a default "sometinh broke but I don't know what" message as internet or live streaming on Smart TV work seconds after exiting this game.
The most "important" period of the game, TOTS is about to commence and so many people will be unable to play this game and obtain they most sought after players unless this is fixed.
If this issue and all the other long running issues aren't fixed please inform EA that no-one will but the next version.
I'd like you to run the Connection Quality Report and get me a screenshot of the overall score as well as the match history. You can find the button for that on the left side of the screen. Thanks!
I've attached connectivity report from over 2 months ago and one done this morning.
For reference I've attached broadband test results from two well known and trusted companies.
The only time I have issues running anything over broadband are playing FC24 and FC25, other EA games are fine.
This suggests that issue is specific to the servers for FC24 and FC25 or it's your AntiCheat program that is causing this.
I understand that there are more difficulties making a game work on PC due to the multitude of motherboard, CPU, and graphics combinations is comparison to Xbox or PS consoles but still, the level of disruption and problems encountered in playing FC25 is just unacceptable.
EA_Aljo I said other EA games are fine. Not today, two separate exits for servers whilst playing PGA Golf as well as being unable to complete match in FC24 and FC25
The connection protocols for your servers have turned to junk
According to your test, there is enough packet loss to cause disconnects and lag. Since it's happening on other games, that further points to this being an issue with your home network/ISP. It would be good to contact them to see if they are noticing any issues.
I have checked with my provider, no issues on my line. PGA Golf is also an EA game and run from their servers.
I have no issue with working from home, video and phone calls via wireless connection to my router have no issues.
Streaming from this PC which has wired connection no issue.
It's only EA's games that are disrupted by this packet loss which wasn't happening previously.
It is your issue to resolve
i also have problems with your EA Servers and the biggest problem is the broken ,,near matchmaking" im in Germany in getting matched to guys in Egypt and Romania and Turkey which feels like playing on 300 Ms !!
We'll keep an eye out for any issues. Thanks.
KingXitus When you're getting matched with others outside your region, what is your ping changing to? Can you show the match history? That should show the connection you're having to others outside your region.
Lmao. You guys should have automated tools which tell you when shards are strained. Either you lack these tools, the tools suck, or your teams are ignoring the warnings. You can't just keep blaming the consumer for this. It is literally common knowledge in the gaming community that your servers are trash. Players are leaving in droves. FIFA, EA's cash cow, is spiralling. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
