Career mode - what's the point?

Don't know if anyone else feels this way?

I've always played career mode until 25. There is no point for me any more.

EA have made the AI defenders almost impossible to get past.

Ground passes don't work. The only thing that seems to work is lobbed passes - which depends on whether the strikers can be bothered to run.

AI strikers act like Maldini in his prime against your defenders / midfielders.

Everyone on the opposing side casually catches the fastest striker and ALWAYS takes the ball.

Your defenders can't catch the AI's slowest attackers.

Taken the ability away to move players in formations - who thought THAT was a good idea?

Maybe just me but there are no young free agents coming through at the beginning of the season and the reliance on youth academy with useless stats makes the game stale after the first season.

There is more, much more, but I can't be bothered with EA any more. They clearly can't be bothered to make a half-decent game so I can't be bothered pointing out any more basic errors.

Been buying FIFA since 1994 - this will be the last time I buy it.
