I've been on a bit of a hiatus -- since about December -- and wanted to ask the community how they like to enjoy FC 25? Ultimately, I had decided to take a break, because of how heavy the game requirements were for Evos (eg; too many games)! It also seemed like players who I had Evo'd before weren't getting any new Evos and that kind of took the fun away from the game for me. So here I am again, after having taken a break, to come back and try to enjoy the game for what it has to offer! Hoping to hear from you all! Thanks!

Gameplay is probably the worst it has been. It's an inconsistent mess. Teleporting animations, the ball going through players, passes not going where you want them to etc etc. It seems to get messier the higher rated players you have.

For me, there’s no enjoyment, and I no longer feel like I’m playing football at all. All I see are programming and physics issues, along with poor work from the game developers. Matches have just become a challenge for me, trying to adapt to all the problems in the game, and I always end up feeling frustrated and turning the game off.

Pretty much this. I feel as though I am just reviewing a junior devs work. Ignoring the server issues, the quality of the matches even offline are not great.The passing is absolutely **bleep** - I played FIFA 03 at an arcade a few weeks ago and even there the passing felt better.The animations are just plain weird - it seems that the higher the stats/more playstyles a player has, the weirder they move around.It is easier to trivella outside the box than tap it in - who thought this made sense?Defenders always catching up to attackers.Tackling from behind being the easier way to tackle?Bounce backs - I genuinely started manual passing to a defender in front of my sprinting attacker so that he could get the bounce back. You would be shocked at how well this worked in div 1.Tackling spam - need I say anything on this?Interceptions - this may be a personal thing. I don't enjoy how easy interceptions are. If I am providing a long ball to a winger, I don't expect a midfielder to jump 2M in the air to snatch it with his third arm. We are playing football, not shaolin soccer.

Only playing a couple of rush games here and there. I used to enjoy the gameplay so put up with the menu grind. Every patch is nerf defense buff offense so not really worth playing either. There is just way to many evos sbcs and trading.

It’s just like with anything in the menus a little bit is ok and fun. I get more options but at the same time you are just chasing objectives not even playing for the fun or in a mode you enjoy.

They really need to slow down the power curve so you are not in the menus so much.

This update made the game completely unplayable. I didnt know the gameplay could get this horrendous. Absolutely f***** the game up with this update. TRASH

Evoing my WSL team is the only reason the game still has appeal for me. That's made difficult by a number of players just not being in the game, so I can't even use players I would like to.
If there were no Evos, or if the Evos get even more expensive, I wouldn't have a reason to login to play at all.

It really sucks to experience this type of gameplay and it is amongst the top reasons why I've decided to take a break from it in previous years -- including this one. I think it's important to not take this game too seriously because it is not healthy and not worth being angry about!

This year was probably amongst the better years, for me, in terms of gameplay. Unfortunately, it has also been one of the worst for a lot of other people! Lol But, I've definitely heard connection seems to be behind the inconsistency of gameplay. I hope we are able to get better/ more dedicated servers!

I had to take a long break and come back to it when I was ready to not take this game so seriously. While EA does want people to play the game for as long as people can, I think it's important we take care of ourselves and take breaks away from the game when it's making us upset! :)
