I can't enjoy the game anymore; I try.

I feel you. This game is BS. I have like one fun game for every four or five that I play. The mechanics stink (like this nonsense where your player on a breakaway suddenly decelerates for no reason whatsoever), and the lag in Rivals and Champions (combined with the hackers/cheaters) just enrages me. I think the person who posted “if it doesn’t bring you joy then just stop—life’s too short” said it all. At this point, I’m seriously debating it and the one thing that is tipping me most toward quitting is the contempt I sense from EA when it comes to these forums and the way in which none of our concerns/criticisms get taken seriously. Take lag/latency for example. They don’t hesitate to spit it back in your face that it’s your network or ISP provider, when the numbers simply don’t lie—too many users are having issues for it not to be an issue with EA servers.

So, yeah, barring some totally unexpected u-turn from EA, I’m done (after 30 years!) buying their games.
