my ps5 has just randomly turned off while playing champs

I'm sorry EA_Darko​, but this is not an acceptable solution because not only he is not the first person to report this performance issue that has been there since that game's release, but there are high chances that the issue remains on the upcoming FC 26 edition, if you keep ignoring feedback. Please at least communicate the issue to the development team.

If this guy took his time to register and report an issue for the first time on a EA forum, it's probably because such issue only concerns this specific game, which means he would have no reason to report the same issue for every game he plays if his console was the actual problem.

Thank you for taking his issue more seriously, especially since the provided solution doesn't work. The same issue has been reported 57 times this year and this is only for the English speaking forum. Please also take in consideration that most players would never bother registering to report this and simply stop playing or ignoring the issue, letting the game destroy their console instead.

There are millions of FC 25 players on PS5 FrenchieFred350​ and if there was an ongoing issue with the game and the console then we would be seeing thousands if not tens of thousands of posts about this. 

That we are not and that for many the issue goes away when they play on another PS5 means that this is a console side issue that affected users will need to troubleshoot from their end.

I agree with you that there are millions of FC 25 players on PS5, but I think you're overestimating the disposition of players to report technical issues here. There are 11,436 posts at most, all issues and platforms combined.

Respectfully, I have to disagree with your second assumption though. It's not all about the hardware, at least not when the issue only occurs on FC 25.

We would ask that you not hijack threads like this FrenchieFred350​. 

There are many more posts in these forums that the number you shared and there were tens of thousands in the AHQ boards before these ones. And that is excluding the other channels I have access to where I can review reports of issues. If this was a game specific issue then we would be seeing tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands or even millions of reports of this issue.

That we are not and that we are seeing such a tiny number points to this being console side and not game side. That many users who have had the issue have reported it fixed when they tested on another console further adds to this being console and not game related.

You are free to continue to believe that this is a game issue but this will not help you fix the issue. Our team investigate all issues we raise and that this is not a flagged issue on their end means that if seeing this issue you need to troubleshoot your console.
