Really disappointed with FC 25...
I don't keep up with these forums, etc. but I am an avid EAFC/FIFA player. I just wanted to share my disappointment somewhere, so that the folks at EA sports know my first disappointment in the game, so they can hopefully take a step back and make it better, like previous versions.
I get the new version every fall and loved it each year. This is the first year I've played it where I was frustrated enough that I stopped half way through. The "improvements" this year make playing so much harder and less fun. The previous release EA FC 24 was by far my favorite of the releases, with the intuitive offensive runs, the dynamic and easy controls. For a fairly mid player, I enjoyed it immensely.
But, when I downloaded the new game, even when I made lots of slider adjustments, it just didn't matter. The AI players wouldn't make runs, they wouldn't keep up their defense automatically, and it was just a frustrating 0-0, or 4-4 every game it seemed. No matter the feedback I read on here or from friends, nothing fixed that.
It's super disappointing, as I love EAFC as something to take my mind off of things in the real world - a nice break with soccer. But, this year, it was missing, thanks to the disappointment and loss of enjoyment this new version brought. Here's hoping next year, we get back to more of what was so good in EAFC 24 and less of what was frustrating about EAFC 25. Please.
