Server location?

If you are far from a server yes it will affect your connection. Do a speed test just for your connection not for ea. Ping a server halfway around the world.  Your ping packet loss ect will all be higher. 

So like someone posted a few weeks ago they are on the west side of Australia so they connect to the server on the east. They have horrible gameplay. That isn’t a server issue. The server works fine. 

I have a gigabit fibre to the premises connection and I don't believe a higher ping should make my players physically slower. I might get a slight delay in response or some stuttering / lagging (although I would hope not on 5ms) but once the server receives the command that my player is running at full speed they should be running at full speed, which they're not!

Well you wouldn’t just have a higher ping you would have more jitter and packet loss too. Like I said go to a speed test site not ea. Test on a server closest to you then test one halfway around the world. The results will be different. 

In game turn on the online input overlay. This will put two controllers on your screen. If they are in sync you have little to no delay. If they are 4 seconds apart then you have delay. Thats when people say they have slow players the servers are broken ect. 

If the server isn’t an issue why does it take 3 minutes for the pack to open currently?? Give it a rest man
