I never said it was your connection.
You should check your connection and match history. This will give you an idea if you are being place on a different server as your ping will be higher. Below is an example and link of how to test it.

In game you can turn on the online input overlay. This will show you in real time your delay. One controller is your local input on screen. The other controller on screen is your connection to the server. Count the seconds between button presses and if you see 2 seconds between them that’s how much delay you have.
