10 Hour trial with EA play broken

i downloaded the showcase and played it before i realised i could install a 10 hour trial through Ea play through my xbox ultimate membership, so i deleted the showcase and installed the trial. However it seems the showcase version has somehow overrun the trial and the "trial version" i installed is actually the "showcase version" when i clearly pressed install trial. I've seen numerous people have the same problem online but no one has seem to have answered this issue. Any help is appreciated!
