I was suffering from the same crash, but by deleting all my profiles (including FC24) and creating profiles again, the symptoms improved! (I don't know if it makes sense at this time, but I removed all USBs and used only the controller. (I also ignored all personal settings and created the profile by hitting the A button repeatedly)
