Controller not recognized on ea fc 25

Question

I bought Ea FC 25 on the ea app, same way I did with ea fc 24. I assumed I could use my ps4 controller to play it like a normal person and how I did it for ea fc 24. But no, the game does not recognise my controller in the slightest. I know the controller isnt the problem because I used sites to test the input and I also played ea fc 24 and it worked perfectly. On ea fc 25 though, not a glimpse of controller input. Ive tried everything from the steam input settings to running the ea app as an administrator and nothing works. I love spending my money on a game just to not be able to play it at all. I hope EA sees this and actually decides to help

@EA_Pulsar&nbsp;hey man my controller is connected via cable and it is Generic controller. Before TU 5 when you guys solved problem of controller with TU 2 (and all advices with "enable steam input") everything worked just fine. After TU 5 same problems with controller, not detected, not recognized, or wrong inputs as it was at the start of the game (end of September / start of October). Also not able to play even with keyboard because at some point of match, I start losing control of players, lose "cursor" of them, they start running out of the pitch and moving with the ball. TU 2 solved all of that, can you make it again please?&nbsp;

@EA_Pulsar thank you for quick reply, but nothing of that works. I have tried again everything you said, tried without mouse and keyboard, always using 3.0 USB ports, deleted settings folder from where you said, tried another controller settings, another controller, but nothing works. As I previously said, same problem has been at the start of EA FC 25 and you guys from EA fixed it with TU 2, and it worked in a period from TU 2 to TU 5. After TU 5 my controller is not recognized (and how I see lot of other people have that same problem). Can you somehow turn back those specs and updates from that period because I think is the only way to work properly and without problems with controllers? Please fix it somehow.

Hey&nbsp;@GreenFrogFTW, is your controller connected&nbsp;via cable or Bluetooth?&nbsp;Have you tried both options to compare the results?&nbsp;

Try to disconnect any other USB devices for now and use other USB ports for testing (3.0 if there is one).
Deleting the existing settings folder from this location may also help sync everything again
C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 25 (App Data is usually a hidden folder, so it can be changed from the View dropdown.)

Test different controller settings to see if there is a difference between custom and classic settings.
