I played multiple games in ultimate team where half way through the match I get disconnected (my internet has a high speed connection and I can play different games online without issue). I keep getting disconnected and after I reconnect I get a warning for it.
Community ManagerSomeone on wireless that is connected to a router in the same room is going to have a better connection than someone connected to a router in another room or on a different floor. Walls, wires, pipes, etc, are going to have a bigger impact on the quality of the signal and will make you more likely to disconnect. Even being in the same room, wireless is far more susceptible to interference than a wired connection. When enough data is lost, the game will disconnect.
If you can try going wired you will see a difference. There is a common theme with connection issue threads even on here. More times than not people are on wifi. I’ve always played on wired and only ever dced a handful of times.
While I understand wifi is more convenient and sometimes it’s the only option that is more likely the issue than the servers being the problem or everyone would experience it.
