error fifa 25

Good morning, my problem is that when I open the game, it doesn't let me create the settings because it doesn't save them, I have tried updating drivers, uninstalling the game and reinstalling, clearing the cache and nothing, does anyone know how to fix it? thank you

hey @apexdante1991 Please give the following steps a try and see if that helps.

    • Please ensure that no third-party software is running in the background.
    • Disconnect any other USB devices from your PC. You can connect your controller after launching the game to see if that works.
    • Reset your previous game settings by deleting the folder. (The default location on PC is C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 25. App Data is usually a hidden folder, so it can be changed from the View dropdown.)
    • Launch the game FC25 exe file as administrator from the installation folder.
  • I am on ps5 and game was fine to start and recently I can’t even play it as my console overheats as soon as enter match however I can play other games and it fine but fc 25 shuts my console off straight away is there a fix I have already cleaned console out many times. When this be fixed

@JarmezK123 Well, it's a different kind of issue than the one discussed in this thread. You can try some troubleshooting steps if your console is crashing. I'll list those below.

You can disable the HDMI Device Link feature.

    Spoiler
    1. Go to Settings > System > HDMI.
    2. Select HDMI Device Link.
    3. Hit the X button on your DualSense controller to toggle the feature off.
    4. Restart your PS5.

    Disable Rest Mode.

    Spoiler
    1. Go to Settings > System > Power Saving.
    2. Set the Rest Mode activation time.
    3. Save changes.

Backup and restore your PS5 database

    Spoiler
    1. Turn your PS5 off.
    2. Press and hold the power button on the console for around 7 seconds or until you hear two beeps. Release when you hear the beeps—your PS5 will now boot in Safe Mode.
    3. Using a USB cable, connect a DualSense controller to the console. Press the PS button on the controller to activate it.
    4. Using the controller's D-pad, scroll down and select Clear Cache and Rebuild Database.
    5. Choose Rebuild Database and then click OK.
