I purchased FC 25 to be able to play it a week early, which so far I’ve been unable to do due to a bug which causes my Xbox (Series X) to freeze (green screen) and just switch off. My controller starts flashing & then my Xbox proceeds to crash and switch off. This doesn’t happen with any other game or app, just the new fc 25. Is there anyone struggling with the same problem?
Community ManagerIn the case your console is overheating, try cleaning/vacuuming away the dust/lint from the console vents.
Storing the console out in the open rather than in an enclosed cabinet will help too.

My Xbox is brand new & not overheating. It is also in an open area. I specifically mentioned that this only happens when trying to play FC25. I paid £90 to be able to play it early & I haven’t been able to do so due to this bug.

It's happening to me since FC 24, to some people even earlier. They don't have a solution, but if you do find one,let me know.
They will keep saying it's overheating,but it's just during this game, so something with the app overheats the Xbox and it doesn't affect enough people for them to care or brings them money.
Is this happening to you on fc25 also??
