Frank you can’t be objective you are half the reason I seem all over the place as you started out with a bug saying it was a server issue. It’s not it’s a bug. I even blamed ea for it. The evidence shows that. That is the problem people just lump everything into one delay.
Look post a video with the online input overlay on. One controller on screen with show your local connection. The other one will show the connection to the server. Depending on how much delay you have that is how many seconds the two controllers will be off.
The big thread with a lot of videos showed people didn’t have delay. That’s not me saying it. The poster who argued with me for most of the thread came back and said he didn’t have delay. He even described the delay as one sided and said it was exactly like the op did. He was shocked he didn’t have delay as he was sure he did just like the op. It is shocking when you finally test it and find out not everyone has delay.
To your other point if you live on one side of Australia and connect to the other side of server. You will have delay the game will be unplayable. I’ve said in the past for people who experience one sided delay because of that it must be terrible. They show that in the videos.
That is not a server issue. I don’t know where you live but ping a speed test to a server across the world. It will make your connection look bad. The server is not broken.
But post the video show ea everyone has delay and how bad it is. The last big thread showed 1 maybe 2 people had delay and ea was right.
Also to add to this the reason the tests are important is when 1000 plus posts actually showed it was a server ea fixed it. I also linked the thread over and over again and said it was a server issue. Ea needed more evidence and I never defended ea. that was the sa sever a year or so ago.
So when the evidence shows a server issue ea fixed it. I don’t know why people want to argue with showing evidence so ea will fix it. Then again maybe because more times than not it shows it’s not on eas end.
