Thanks for your response. I've followed all the steps you mentioned:
✅ Clean boot
✅ Closed all background apps
✅ Reinstalled EA AntiCheat completely (via the AC folder and installer)
✅ Removed squad updates and tried launching with a clean settings folder
✅ Tried different game modes (offline/online/training) — crash still occurs right after teams are shown
✅ Other games (like Valorant) run fine, so it's not a hardware or driver issue
The game just shuts down completely — no error, no freeze, just exits instantly when a match is about to start.
This makes me think the issue is either:
- Related to my EA account/profile or
- A recent FC 25 update
Is it possible for you to check or reset anything on your side related to my player data or cloud saves?
Also, would it help if I shared my DxDiag or log files?

Community ManagerSorry nothing seems to be helping. Thanks for the Dxdiag, I see many peripherals connected via USB or Wirelessly to the PC, please try to unplug them all and leave only the keyboard and mouse, to check if these other peripherals are involved somehow.
Can you also confirm when exactly the game started crashing for you like this? What were you doing before this started happening? Was there a game or system update at the same time?
In the meantime, please do try to reinstall the game once more; it might make a difference if the installation data is involved, even though you have tried to restore the installation as best you could already, sometimes doing it again helps.
You also mentioned checking the VC++ redistributable components. Did you follow this guide and actually reinstall the listed components to check if they are involved?
Another thing I recommend you try is to load up the account using the Companion App or the Web App, delete your active squad, set up a new one, and then try again to play a match on your console. Sometimes, setting up a new squad gets rid of temporary data that is involved in errors starting a match. I hope these additional suggestions will help!
