Hi again. I’ve done more testing and I’m now pretty sure the crashes are caused by the controller. If I launch the game without a controller connected, everything works fine. I can enter modes like Moments or Training without any issues. But when I connect a controller — even a brand new one (8BitDo Ultimate 2C) — the game crashes right after showing the opponent's squad, just before kickoff. I’ve tried launching the game with the controller connected, and also plugging it in later, but the crash happens either way. I removed and recreated the Personal Settings 1 file, reinstalled the game and EA AntiCheat, performed a clean boot, reinstalled all VC++ redistributables, created a new squad via the Web App, avoided restoring cloud saves, and changed input settings via Steam. None of this fixed it. Could this be a controller compatibility issue or some kind of input conflict? Is there a way to force the game to use Steam Input only, or to disable native controller detection? Thanks again for all your help.

I see. Thanks for the update. Would you be able to test an official PS or Xbox Controller and isolate the cause of these crashes?
If the controller seems to be causing the crashes, did you check for any updates to the controller firmware or drivers available from the manufacturer? Updating the software and drivers might help; you could also try rolling them back to a previous version, if available.
Have you already tried connecting the controller to a different USB port on the PC? Sometimes, that helps; there are different kinds of USB ports.
