I have a Ryzen 3600x, gtx 1080ti, 16gb ram &nvme + most importantly a Gsync monitor
my pc eats fc/fifa games for breakfast
however fc25 has been a bit laggy and then the patch came I think Tu5 like others and bang absolutely ruined, huge input lag, game stutters and lags so bad like players are in treacle and slow motion, input lag is a few seconds after pressing
I tried every ‘fix’ from all the posts on EA forum, tried all the YT videos , tried changing all settings in fc like screen mode, max fps, refresh all graphics settings and all the ‘fixes’ for nvidia panel etc etc
I do think that there are a few issues that are causing problems for people this is why some things work for certain setups
However Last night I fixed the issue after months of lag and stutter and it’s all down to gsync
I forced fc25 to play on my 60fps 60hz monitor (2nd monitor) rather than my 144hz gsync
to my amazement it was smooth and lag free, 60fps and clean , no lag , no stutter, no Input lag!
so it’s something to do with gsync and the tu5 patch , they baked in some kind of ray tracing I think and other graphical updates , clearly it messes with frame rates as they were jumping from 20 to 90 to 144 constantly hence the extreme lag and stutter
switching to 60hz monitor fixes it
may I also just say what an utter shambles of developers they have at EA , there are thousands of people reporting these isusss and they juts don’t care and don’t do anything to admit or address the issue
but when you have zero competitors in the space and people buy the fake religiously every year why would you bother listening to the fan base …
I still experience lagg and strange input. The game sometimes feels slow sometimes faster depending on my vsync setting in the nvidiapanel. I am at a point that it is playable again but far away from fixed. I feel like the game was only developed for next gen consoles like ps5. Your comment confirmed this for me when you said a 60hz screen fixed it. Because the consoles are capped at 60 fps I believe. They just cant deal with the extra capacity some pc's have with more hz screens and more fps. And I tried to put my screen on 60 hz mode and 60 fps cap in game and in nvidia but this didn't fix it.. for now I can play with this half broken game. But for sure if this will not be completly fixed I will not but fc26. Maybe later in a sale but not full price. I only play offline so the you would say it would be easy not to make the game stutter and lagg.. its funny how everyone doesnt experience the issue in Rush maybe they need to look into that and find out why that does work. Hope they will fix it but like you said they don't often listen to the community..
We need a 91plus icon for compensation for all the trouble we went through 4monthes and we get the short end while it was compensation fc this whole year with language mistakes and pack weight i know it would not even hurt the market if we get a high rated icon with all the coin selling and trading coins they dont carr about we should get compensated for the time we lost atleast give us that EA. Show some Heart to the PC community...
