Subject: EA FC 25 – Game Crashes and BSOD After Windows and GPU Driver Update

Hello,

I’m experiencing constant crashes and Blue Screens of Death (BSOD) when trying to launch EA Sports FC 25 on PC.

The issue started after updating both Windows and my NVIDIA GPU drivers. Now, every time I launch the game, I either get a crash to desktop or a BSOD with the following error:

Stop code: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

What failed: eaaanticheat.sys

Things I’ve already tried:

• Running the game as Administrator
• Running in Windows 8 compatibility mode
• Reinstalling EA AntiCheat
• Reinstalling the game

Nothing has worked so far.

System details:

• Windows version: Windows 11, fully updated as of July 2025
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX ( RTX 4090 )
• GPU Driver version: 576.88 (GeForce Game Ready Driver, released July 1, 2025)

Please assist me with this issue as I’m unable to play the game anymore.
