xCloud Login Unavailable when trying to login to Web/Companion App

I've been trying to log in to the FC Ultimate Team Web App and the FC Companion App since yesterday, but I keep receiving the following message:

"Login Unavailable
We're currently having trouble with login services. While we work on it, you can try to
log in from your Console or PC to get the full Football Ultimate Team experience."

I just started playing yesterday through Game Pass, using cloud gaming to play FC 25. I don’t know if that might be affecting access, but I haven’t played much Ultimate Team yet.

I’ve tried logging in on both PC and mobile, using different networks (Wi-Fi and mobile data), but nothing works so far.

    it seems like there might be a slight mishap with the error message. I've flagged that to the team. The reason you can't access the Web and Companion App is most likely because you haven't unlocked it yet.

    If you are new FC 25 players, you won't instantly get access. For the in game transfer market, there are first so-called Foundation objectives you'll need to complete.

    Then in order to get unlocked for the Web and Companion App, you'll have to play some more. We've got an EA Help article which goes into more specifics.

    EA_Vendcera​EA_Darko​ any update on the web app login issue? It’s been two weeks now since Xbox Game Cloud users were given access to the game and we haven’t been able to access the web app.

    There was no issue accessing the web app last year when FC24 was released through the same channel.

    Hello I have been playing for a week now everyday and still don’t have the transfer market on companion just wondering do ea give it out anymore?

  • For those experiencing issues logging into the web app and companion app: since EA hasn’t resolved the problem, I found a workaround by installing the game on my PC and entering Ultimate Team. Now I have access to Web App and Companion

    It won’t work. If you link your account to PC’s Ultimate Team, you will have access to PC’s companion. If you try to switch to xbox companion, you will see the old error.

  • Companion app is finally working for me today! (no transfer market though..) I hope it does for you too guys!?

    Thanks for the update and glad to hear it's working for you now. In order to actually gain access to the transfer market on the Web and Companion App, you'll need to play some more FC, as explained in our EA Help article

    How long does it take to unlock the Transfer Market?

    How long it takes to unlock the Transfer Market is based on a few factors.

    • Your account history and if it’s in good standing by following the EAS FC rules.
    • The number of Ultimate Team™ accounts you’re using on the same device.
    • The number of active days you’ve played Ultimate Team™.
      • An active day is when you’ve played three full matches in Ultimate Team™ and logged in to the Web or Companion App within a calendar day, following UTC timezones, per Ultimate Team™ account.
      • Learn how to set up EAS FC Playtime to see your time spent and matches played.

    Playing more than three matches per day won’t increase your chances of unlocking the Transfer Market.

    Here are some examples of how many active days of playing it takes to get access to the Transfer Market.

    • For an Ultimate Team™ account that’s in good standing, and is the only account that’s been created on or logged in to from a device, playing two active days will normally earn you access.
    • For an Ultimate Team™ account in good standing that’s not the only Ultimate Team™ account that’s been created on or logged in to from a device, it should take at least four active days to earn access. Depending on the number of Ultimate Team™ accounts used on a device, it could take longer.
      • If you share your device with siblings or friends who also play Ultimate Team™, it may take more time to gain access to each Ultimate Team™ account.
