Perhaps it's just a delay. Give it some time. Log out of the web app, sign back in from the game after restarting your console. This should help synchronise your account again.

This has also happened to me twice, and no there isn’t a delay it just won’t let you buy it. I’ve lost 1m now on doing this. EA need to fix it and refund me. Ridiculous

No that’s not true it’s done it to me twice and DOES NOT WORK BUT HAS TAKEN 1M from me!!!!!
