I thought that the objective had to be done post evo, it doesn't say anywhere that you should do the objectives before the evolution. I scored the 10 goals required and it didn't count to my progress, a bit alarming because I just spent 400k on this, which if true that you can't progress the objective if you start the evo it is downright shameful.

Yeah that sucks, Thing is they dont care, I think people have made similar mistakes every single promo when it comes to this stuff on evo's, and put the wrong evos on first, people have complained, EA ignore them, nothing happens and then EA release the next promo and same thing happens again.
Nothing is provided really to help people or guide them through this stuff, it cant be that hard during each special evo type promo they list to add another thing you can click on and it shows you EXACTLY what order your supposed to do it in etc.
But while there money keeps rolling in and we keep on buying and playing, nothing will change from there end.
Not difficult at all. Just don’t allow the EVO until all other cards have been collected.
EA as usual don’t care about the players just money money money… they are in the wrong but don’t have the balls to own up and look after loyal players.
ZobbiMushroomTap If the evolved version of gloves to goals Cech icon causes a problem for you, then you must have another Yashin icon which is not evolved. Try using him to complete objectives. See if this workaround works for you.
That does work. Unfortunately for me, I'd used an ST+ after evolving to 98 and it's not recognised as a gloves to goals icon now so can't use the cards on him. Not sure if that's the case if you'd just used the 98 EVO and not getting position mod like I did
Same here, I came to the forum to find out if anyone else had made the same mistake as me and to find out if there is any way for EA to roll back the EVO, I don't mind losing the EVO ST Shapeshifter, but I wanted to finish improving my Yashin.
I would say based on all the other evos this year that people have made the same mistakes on, from the future stars to the icon rise thing, not only will you not hear anything they 100% wont do anything and even if you went directly to EA support on there site they will just tell you there is nothing they can do from there end
So after I had evolved my Chec in full I went and did the goals objectives with my Yashin and got all rewards. They where then sent to my EVO where I could add them and the play styles I wanted so bit of plod 1 game at a time for each play style but it’s all working Ok for me now. Don’t add anything other than Gloves to goals special EVO items until you have completed everything you on you player. Or you will STOP him from becoming a gloves to goals shapeshifter.
