What is the point in having any sort of sbc grind if you are just going to stop me from doing them? I've been stopped 3 times today from doing repeatable SBC's and it's ridiculous. It's been 40 minutes since my last ban and I still can't do anymore.Why do you even have a limit for how many can be done, if they are infinitely repeatable? It's not like I'm getting anything good from them anyway. This is one of the worst things outside of actual gameplay that you have ever implemented, and a genuinely terrible idea.It feels like you don't want people to be able to get promo cards without being driven to the store, but that's the idea isn't it? It's not enough to give you the money for the game (which is objectively one of the worst ever) you want to try take every penny you can and you use manipulative tactics to do so.

SBC's don't necessarily ruin the market, I rarely if ever use the transfer market myself. If I don't get the player myself I just don't use them, and I'm mostly not worried about getting the top top players. I understand why they are so hard to get, but making multiple unlimited SBC's and making it impossible to keep doing them is just ridiculous.They don't need to get rid of SBC's, but like many other things in the game they just need to implement it better. They are either way too expensive like De Bruyne for example, yeah it may be a great card but I have just as many cards that are somewhat equal or fit my playstyle better. Or they are just not fit for purpose, in the sense it may be a cool card but with playstyles in the game they just aren't good.SBC's are a great way to stay on the game while taking a break from the actual gameplay, and they can be great for improving your club if you get lucky, but the key is getting lucky. Take today, I probably opened around 60 packs and 70 player picks with the best 2 cards being Renard and Gerrard, everything else was duplicates of cards from my rivals rewards. The odds of me getting the best cards is extremely slim to begin with, but restricting the ways I can get them is straight up manipulation.If I can't do any more SBC's the only packs I can use are store packs, and considering the amount of coins needed for evolutions these days it's just not viable. Unless I use money, which is exactly what EA are trying to drive people towards. It's manipulative, it's unfair on people that actually understand how to grind or take time to, and quite frankly it's another reason that I'm probably not going to get FC26. Unless it's in a good sale or someone buys it for me it's not worth me spending the time and money on, especially if they are just going to restrict everything I'm trying to do.

That doesn't stop cheating at all, the sbc grind is the only real way to get a good amount of promo cards without using the store. They also rarely release unlimited SBC's. There wasn't really a good way to grind in TOTS and the market was still terrible. That is due to the fact that they completely messed up the power curve, not the amount of SBC's people do.The only way to really afford all of the store packs would then be to buy coins, which I'm pretty certain is against the terms and conditions. Most people don't have that sort of money to throw at a game so all they will do is lose even more of their customer base. The big companies like EA are all out of touch and it shows by the amount of people leaving their games. If they want to keep losing them and only have whales left, then they can have them. I say good riddance, I've played the last few years out of loyalty to the game and a love of football. But I'll also gladly never buy it again with the way they are going.

Sbcs have been ruining the market anyway. So I agree with you it’s time for ea to remove sbcs. They can’t expect people to do them slower.

If they don’t remove them they could always restrict them to like 5 a day. That way you stop cheating and you no longer ban people doing unlimited amounts. I still think it hurts the market as people just do unlimited sbcs and no longer need the market so it causing everything to be discard.

Sbc grind is what is causing people to have to use the store. Before sbcs you could gradually upgrade your team and get the best players. Right now a pack is worthless. It’s why ea just keeps pushing more and more sbcs. Then people even want more and more sbcs so it works out for ea. But besides that what is your solution to stop cheating? Are you just going to let everyone do unlimited amounts and no longer ban cheaters? I agree having people who are not cheating slow down isn’t a good solution but what is the alternative?

You are right about totw but that is the point. You rarely packed a totw but if you did it held value. They actually would even rise in price because the packweights were bad.

A medium priced player would be like Rashford at the start of the year what was he like 50-100k? It’s hard to give you an example now because there is no medium priced players. But yeah gold players at the start of the year had value and opening packs were worth it.

Then it just leads back to the fact that EA want money and created so many promos so that people get FOMO.
At the start of the year 50k-100k is probably medium priced, but now it's anywhere from 250k-700/800k with the top top players still being 1 mil+. Even then most of those players are only there through rarity not anything else, few players are there due to being meta. Gold players will always have value at the start of the year because there are no promos really, it's only once promos start that they become worthless.
At the end of the day EA have done it themselves through greedy practices, the game doesn't even release in a good state these days, and still has issues 8-9 months on.

That’s why I said removing sbcs would actually help the game. Promos to but people want more more more as much as ea does so it will likely only get worse.
