Dream Big Cup - which Players are eligible?

I have tried the new cup mode to get Dewsburry- Hall card with Odobert in my squad. But this does not seem to count as an eligible item. I have played several Squad Battles and none of the games counted.  Please help and provide guidance for this objective. Thanks.
