EVO Elites Cup — Can’t Construct an Eligible Lineup—Can anyone help?

Am I missing something? I only started playing about a month ago, but I have evolved more than 10 cards. The problem is they don’t all seem to satisfy the EVO Elites Cup requirements. And that’s before I even get to the max 85 rating (which is highly problematic since most of my evolutions had to be 85-87 to even qualify for evolving and now they’re +88. How the heck are you supposed to construct a qualifying lineup? Am I missing a trick because it seems near impossible.

Any helpful insights or pointers from the community would be hugely appreciated. Cheers!

The way around it that I did, and likely others too, is to fill your bench with bronze players to bring the overall squad rating down.

I used a team of 90ish rated players (incl. Zidane, Zico, Bale etc) and just stuck the lowest rated bronze cards I could find until it worked. I still had 3 90+ cards on the bench.

Maybe upload a screenshot of your team so we can see why certain things might not be eligible?
