Just wanted to point out that the game doesn't take your coins and that the items you see on the market are all from other players so they take the coins.
Market tends to change a lot at different times in the day. During peak hours 4pm until 10pm, prices tend to be more stable as there are more supply. Newly added items and SBC tend to affect the prices as well. I recommend checking at different times as you might see when items tend to be cheaper.
