Did you put the wrong evolution on him by mistake? The proper evolution would/should have been under the "gloves to goals" section of evolutions. Unfortunately, there's no fixing that, once you have changed the rarity he no longer is eligible for that upgrade path.

I didn't even put the wrong one on i saw it was under the gloves to goals evo tab but ea are just scummy **bleep** and it wouldn't get fixed anyway
