I've figured it out

After reporting hacker after hacker, people who cause forced disconnects, people making your team literally have zero pace, and receiving the exact same "We reviewed your report and didn’t take any action this time." literally every single time, no matter how blatant the hacks, I've finally figured it out. EA are actively encouraging cheaters and hackers to drive pack sales. They think that if you get absolutely swamped you'll think "Jeeze, my players must not be good enough, better fork out the cash on those juicy store packs". I thought it was just the worst anti-cheat ineptitude I've ever seen from a gaming company, but even that doesn't explain it at this point. The only rational answer is that it is pure unadulterated corruption. You would have to be willfully ignoring the problem to have let it get this bad. There have been literal exposes about hackers running rampant and they have done nothing. Zero. Zilch. So let this be your warning; They will never act against the cheaters because it serves their interests.

I have to disagree. They seem to be proactive at banning people who buy coins online, but I've not seen any evidence that they are banning hackers and cheaters. I have lost so many rewards this season from people forcing a disconnect in games I am winning, at a minimum 2-3 times per weekend league or friendly league. I genuinely haven't gotten through a single event without encountering multiple instances of blatant hacking.

  • It’s likely just a standard reply as they won’t tell you they banned them. While it would be nice if ea did more to ban cheaters I don’t think they are doing nothing. Right now every other thread is someone complaining they got banned with the last ban wave.

While I think ea could make a mistake a lot of the bans are probably deserved too as there are so many cheaters. It’s good that ea does so many ban waves it shows they care.

Yet they will email me specifically telling me that they did nothing. Not to mention that they don’t even have a report for cheating option in game, you have to go out into general EA profiles to find it. They are doing everything they can to NOT ban cheaters. “Security purposes” is quite the convenient excuse to not do their job.

  • If you read the help page on reporting players they won’t tell you if they banned them or not. It’s for security purposes.
