Stat limits are useless

What was the purpose of adding stat limits I thought it'd be you could use any player that matches or is below the overall and in the right position but just wouldn't be able to go above the stat limits. Turns out it's exactly the same as ea fc 24 who would've guessed another useless addition by ea.
