already stopped playing Rivals because pack weights suck so much you never get anything worth investing the time for.Weekend qualify no longer gets played because it is 5 teams with a 5 back and rewards just aren't worth that head ache.The season pass is rammed with loans, nobody cares, and even has Foundation players. Lame. Not a single Centurian card to get. Been playing since early access and only packed Declan Rice, Ederson, and Capdevilla. Why bother. Promo cards are more rare than Unicorns. So getting excited over promos is a non starter.UT 25 is just unrewarding and a waste of time.

I honestly thought it was some sort of an error or bug when I saw all the loans and foundation players in there.Less and less being given this year in various ways, the stingiest they have ever been with reward packs, together with the proven lowest pack weight ever.For someone like me who doesn't use loans this is beyond terrible.I usually last with this game until at least TOTY but honestly, I'm already considering moving on.Gameplay problems aside, if a game has you playing for rewards, but those rewards are unrewarding, there's no point.

It's very simpleLast season rewards were too good so people weren't buying packs.Now the season rewards are crap, so therefore they throw promo pack after promo pack and completely overpriced SBC's out in the hopes of people spending money on packs, especially as the game has done less well than before (which explains why they have already done a massive discounted offer on it)EA are panicking that their cash cow is failingBad review after bad reviewComplaints after complaints as the game was released unfinished and in a less than even beta state.A toxic community they cannot (or will not) control who do everything they can to cheat the game and ruin it for others that leads them to leave.Not even EA's employees can defend this game anymore

You can basically get an end game team within a few days. Everyone is almost discard besides the top few players in each position.

@ricm0nkeyThis game has you playing for rewards? Why not play other gamemodes? I'm doing that more and more. It's simply a lot more fun on simulation settings than playing UT which imo doesn't even look like real soccer. More like a pinball machine. Way too fast and catering towards people with a disturbed attention span.

You know why the loans are there. It's the lack of other decent rewards that's a problem. It is becomes "pay to play" - if that is a term - then all the casual players will stop playing the mode and it will be dead, causing paying players to abandon as well. Because what's the point of pay2win if there's nobody to win from?

It isn't about cards holding value.
Promo cards, Hero cards, and Icons are too rare. Value is irrelevant IMO because you shouldn't need 14 million coins to play with & enjoy Pele.
Even SBC costs are silly. The new Keane hero moment SBC is way overpriced.
This is supposed to be a video game not a second job.

I usually move to career mode after the Jan transfer window, I always use OS sliders too for more realistic gameplay, won't be using the EA ones because I lterally don't trust them to get it right.
That said I usually enjoy UT to begin with and usually for more than 5 weeks but this year is something else from EA...

@menaceuk This is what I am saying. We shouldn’t have to treat this game like a job. First off we need less games like squad battles make them all 12.

Then stop all the promos and rewards. We had terrible rewards and no promos in the old days but it was better.

You didn’t have to do sbcs and trade all day every day. They could even bring back bid tokens to slow the market down.

@RadioShaqs Hoenestly i dont care abot non of the promos or packs i got to div 4 with basic players and testing out different tactics what bothers me the most is that when i finally decide to play a champs qualification and win a game 2-1 i get the message below and get the loss.
