As we're not really bothering with WL, at weekends, we're prioritising Rivals games (4 more wins needed before Thursday). We're not going to touch Squad Battles until Friday and Saturday, whereas we used to do them very early in the week; our thinking is that EA will give more easier 2,400+ point games the closer it gets to the Sunday deadline.
I'd be interested to hear how others prioritise Rivals, Squad Battles and WL.
Can't really answer yet. I know how I used to work these things but will need to see how this new set up plays out. WL was always the thing that interested me most; without it I'm not sure how it will go.
Just saw the long piece from Gordon Farquhar, EA Product Manager. He confirms WL will only be open to higher quality players.
Oh well, i wish I'd read it before I bought the game. My bad, I'll just take the hint and not make that mistake again. Probably time for a change at some point anyway. Any suggestions? 😊
- @redandwhite1874 Play more squad battles or rivals or friendlies. They added more tries for wl so you could always try to improve to join wl.
- @redandwhite1874 I've never been good enough to play WL, either that or I tilt too hard which affects my overall gameplay. I've come to terms with not wanting to commit to playing WL and spending my time doing something else!
Even with Rivals, I tend to just get my wins and wait for refresh. This year, I don't think I have it in me to try to get 15 wins -- just seems like i'd be playing too many games -- and rewards haven't really been appealing either. I'm just going for 5 and call it at that. I also don't want to keep playing Rivals due to fear of win streaking too hard and getting stuck in a division I can't be chill in.
I try to play the game as casually as I can whilst still grinding for SP and or objectives. I tend to do alright given how I've chosen to play the game.
I also don't trade or make an effort to do so. I just want to be able to hop on, do a couple of games, etc. and enjoy my time off.
I suggest you do the same and not make EAFC25 a full time job -- because it's not. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (Complete or Game of the year edition) is a heck of a game I recommend to a lot of people. I love that game!
Consider playing other modes / other games when you've got nothing to do in FUT.All noted ✅️ 👌
