What are EA Community Manager's Thoughts on Content & Community Feedback?

This is a question to every Community Manager involved with FC25 as well as all of the staff behind the scenes.

Are you happy and proud of the game that is being played by millions of people?

If you look at Twitter, YouTube Videos, Twitch Streams, etc. and the comments of individuals playing this game, a very small % of the player base seem happy with the game. Not every game will be perfect, but there seems to be zero progress made from last years game to this years. In fact, it's the complete opposite. Every facet of the game has gone backwards which is terrifying.

To start with the most recent content from yesterday, let's use the Centurion Crafting Upgrade as an example. You require 11 gold cards to get a 3 x 75+ pack back. How do we get these cards? There is no other menu grind. Also, the objective rewards come every 20 completions compared to last year when it was every 10. On top of that, the reward packs are far worse. So both quality and quantity has decreased. The community is not happy with that. Are you happy with it? Are the Community Managers and those people in charge of content pleased with the changes that have been made?

Overall, the menu grind this year is horrific and yesterday's content showed exactly why. As well as that there was an "upgrade SBC" where you need an 81 rated squad with only 9 player slots meaning the value of the SBC was 22k for 1x85+ and 4x80+ cards. That again is horrific. So I ask again, are you happy with that content?

These are recent examples but the bottom line is that nearly 2 months into the game, the menu grind has not once delivered. That is something you might get away with if the gameplay was good but we all know that it is not. I won't go into detail on this because you can find lists longer than the patch notes that have attempted to salvage the car crash that is gameplay on every platform on the internet. But gameplay aside, the menu grind and content is beyond poor and the pack weight is even worse. It seems EA do not want people to actually enjoy the game.

At a time when Black Ops 6 has been released and Fortnite have announced OG content, FC 25 is in a position where the gameplay is the worst it has ever been. That is something that takes a lot of work to fix. I imagine it took quite a lot of work to make it this bad also and that is upsetting. However, with all that going on and trying to be fixed in the background, EA make daily decisions on content. You need to try and save this game but time after time you make decisions to release content that players are severely underwhelmed by, pushing them further away from this game. These are conscious decisions which drive people away and it seems to be getting worse, not better.

So I ask all EA Community Managers and Staff, what are your thoughts on all of this? Are you happy with this game? You can't believe the community is happy because you will have seen players thoughts to everything online. So knowing that, what is the long term plan? For the player base, it is to uninstall. What is your plan to prevent this?
