Women's Euro upgrade deleted evo

I need some help something - just let me know if I stuffed up anywhere. I evoed the 96 Athenea card in the CAM evolution for her fourth position. But this morning, she received an upgrade that gave her a new position, one of the winger ones, but then removed the CAM position. I didn't actually know that they upgraded and got positions so thats my bad, but surely I can get the evo to use on someone who actually could use it. I can see the argument that they can only have four positions, but then why let me put a position onto her and waste fodder(for both her and the evo) and a one-time evo if it is just going to be removed.
